Celebration Church’s Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry of Celebration Church has a three-fold life purpose for every child, which is no different than the purpose for an adult’s life!
We want children to:
• Learn about Jesus
• Live for Jesus
• Let others know about Jesus
Our three-fold life purpose is designed to be experienced by our babies and toddlers just as much as it can be experienced by our elementary students. We want our babies to feel the love of Jesus the minute they come through our doorway. As songs are sung and stories are read, children will understand that they are special in God’s Kingdom and will begin to open up their hearts and minds to receive the “Good News” of Jesus Christ. Our goal is for every child to become fully devoted followers of Christ, by asking Jesus to be their forever friend!
It is our privilege to partner with parents, grandparents and other significant adults in a child’s life as we embark on this journey together. The precious children that have been entrusted to our loving care are a treasure to us as well. We believe there is no greater call that to make a difference in the life of a child. Downtown: Birth – Kindergarten
It is our vision to minister the love of Jesus to each and every child. Our Nursery, Toddler and Pre-K and K leaders are privileged to have a ground level opportunity in a young child’s life to create a positive church experience to impact their lives forever. This is why we offer clean, friendly rooms that are well staffed with qualified team members who lovingly care for Celebration Church’s littlest ones. The classes are child-targeted, age appropriate and “Kid-Friendly!”
Birth – 1 year old
For our youngest of children, we offer a loving and warm atmosphere, where every baby is treated like our very own. Our team leaders tenderly pray for and speaks scriptures over these precious babies, letting parents relax and enjoy the adult service designed just for them. The environment is bright and clean and “baby-safe” for our most precious little ones.
Toddlers
Ready to meet the high energy of a toddler, our team leaders come prepared to reach and teach these bundles of energy. With fun, interactive lessons, we want every toddler to experience the love of Jesus in a capturing and creative way – a way that is relevant to their lives.
PreK & K
Preschoolers love to “discover” things for themselves. What better way than to discover the truth of God’s word than with creative lessons and dynamic story times. Led by devoted team members called to minister to preschoolers and kindergartners, the leaders are able to capture their attention as they keep them engaged in interactive Bible lessons that vividly teach them how to follow Jesus – all while having fun with their friends!
Uptown: 1st – 4th Grade
Hang on to your seats because we’re going for a ride! The adventure is one filled with exciting Praise and Worship, illustrated and creative object lesson, and multi-media presentations that will easily capture a child’s heart and mind. Crazy games, dramatic skits and enjoyable puppet stories will leave them not only begging for more but will also make them want to bring their friends along with them. Kids can use their earned “Bible Bucks” to shop at their very own store! Our goal is to meet the kids right where they are and reach them in a real and relevant way…as they learn to trust Jesus as their forever friend ~ and then go tell others about Him!
